During the war, Frank served as the liaison officer between the Divisional and Regimental headquarters delivering high priority messages and battle plans.
Plans and messages had to be “memorized” as any written material could be captured, compromising the allied strategy.
Frank provides first hand knowledge of what it was like at the command center, and the inter-actions between headquarters, the brass, and the National Guard. Today he is the founder of The 30th Infantry Division Veterans of WWII.
