Peter was initially assigned to an IR platoon but spent the end of the war in a rifle company. He witnessed Nazi brutality against civilians in Belgium after a women and her baby were shot by an SS officer. Peter is an active speaker on WWII and founder of the Society of Sons & Daughters of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. |
