As President of the Orange Committee, in Kerkrade, Holland, Hans is a strong supporter of the Old Hickory Division. The city of Kerkrade celebrates their liberation day each year. Hans’ adoption of a US soldiers grave in Margraten, lead him to America where he met the fallen soldiers family and eventually his wife - a member of the fallen soldier's family. |
