Paysant Family, Mortain France-
In 2012 we realized that we were loosing our veterans at an alarming rate. In order to utilize some of the mens incredible stories, previously recorded, it would be necessary to film re-enactments of their accounts of the war. This Paysant family in Mortain, France, helped organize a group of young Frenchmen, arranging for the authentic weapons, locations, and WWII vehicles necessary to recreate these scenes. This family and the re-enactors were great supports of the film. Their young son played one of the primary roles.
